Google Spider's Algorithm has been changed

It is mentioned in Google previous webmasters guideline that the copied content websites do not consider for high rankings on Google, but it was not implemented properly /completely by the Google.

Now Google Officially announced at 21^th January, 2011 on his official blog that copied content will consider no worth any more, there are comprehensive updates in Google Bot’s Algorithms and it will prevent all copied content websites from the high rankings.

A senior SEO Trainer Ms. Jill Whalen raised a question “will it also affect those articles where the third party has permission to republish the content”.

I think it should not affects on republished Articles or other stuff, because there are many great websites those don’t have their own content almost, but the republished articles and press releases. And yes it is a legal why to promote your website and articles.
